A proposal to divert water from Lake Michigan to service the community of Waukesha Wisconsin should not significantly affect water levels in the Great Lakes. Geoff Peach, of the Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation believes there are appropriate safeguards built in to the recent approval.
