A local young woman has been chosen as 1 of 400 in Canada to attend the Canadian Model and Talent Convention in May. 19-year-old Seaforth native Carly Schelken came across the opportunity on Facebook and headed to London to compete in an audition for one of the prestigious spots.

ONTARIO FESTIVE RIDE RESULTS

The OPP Festive Ride wrapped up earlier and the final statistics are in for the Province. West Region OPP Sergeant Dave Rektor says the numbers this year are alarming especially since there were six people who lost their lives in impaired driving-related incidents during the campaign.
