Police say bad driving behaviour in our region is the number one cause or injury and death. A recent review of the number of deaths on Ontario roadways indicates that West Region which is our area accounts for the highest number of fatalities sustained in motor vehicle collisions.

Huron County Provincial Police are investigating a recent break and enter in Bayfield. Police say that sometime between October 29th and November 2nd someone forced their way into two sheds at a campground located on Keith Crescent.

House fire claims life. Wednesday morning around 4:30 OPP, and the North Middlesex Fire Department responded to a house fire on Queen Street, north of Ailsa Craig. Police found the home engulfed by fire.

House fire claims life. Wednesday morning around 4:30 OPP, and the North Middlesex Fire Department responded to a house fire on Queen Street, north of Ailsa Craig. Police found the home engulfed by fire. Neighbouring residents were moved to safety allowing the fire department to attack the fire.
