MUNICIPALITY OF BLUEWATER HIRES FRESH FACES

Three new fresh faces have been hired by the municipality of Bluewater. Mayor Tyler Hessel introduced Chandra Alexander as the new Clerk, and Andrew Bicknell as the new Manager of Public Works for the Municipality during the April 18th meeting. Alexander is currently a Municipal Advisor with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Ministry of Housing. She also has experience as a clerk as she has served as the Policy and Communications Analyst with the Municipality of Central Elgin, and she will officially join the municipality on May 8. Bicknell meanwhile joins the municipality from the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority where he was the Regulations Coordinator. The municipality also passed a by-law to enter into a contract for community development coordination services with Karen Rickers who is a marketing consultant based in Seaforth. Rickers brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the marketing, project management, communications and public relations campaigns.
