29-YEAR-OLD KODY JOHNSON TURNS HIMSELF IN TO HURON COUNTY OPP

A male wanted on weapons-related charges by the Huron County OPP has turned himself in.

29-year-old Kody Johnson from Perth County turned himself in Thursday (October 5) at the Huron County OPP Detachment on his outstanding arrest warrant.

The arrest was in relation to a prior incident that occurred on September 28th on River Mill Line.

The 11 charges in relation to the incident include Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 counts) and Possession of a Prohibited Firearm to name a few.

He made a court appearance on Thursday at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.

He remains in custody with a court appearance scheduled for October 23rd.
