With snow forecasted for the region, some people plan on staying in while others are trying to figure out how to get to and from safely. But drivers don't need to worry as according to South Huron Chief Administrative Officer, Dan Best the municipality is ready for the snow.
Best says in terms of routes, the winter program is reviewed every year to figure out the best ways to offer the service. He adds that roads will take priority followed by sidewalks and parking lots. The CAO tells myFM news that the municipality always uses the South Huron website and social media platforms to get the word out there including information about closures.
