The Exeter Legion hosted a Remembrance Day banquet on Saturday. The night was well attended by Legion members, family, dignitaries and the community. There were awards given out for various years of service including: 60 years, 45 years, 40 years, 30 years, 25 years and 20. The guest speakers were Jaredd Orr and Lauren Hammond, students from South Huron District High School. The students among others in South Huron traveled to Europe on a time which saw them go to Vimy Ridge. myFM spoke with various members of the Legion who told them the turnout meant so much.
