It was a great weekend for the Exeter Hawks in local Provincial Junior Hockey League action.On Friday night, Christian Petrozza had two goals, as the Hawks beat up on the North Middlesex Stars 8-0. The Hawks showcased their talents Saturday against their Highway 4 rivals Lucan Irish, as Max Bannon's two goals led the Hawks to a 5-2 win.
In other weekend action, the Lucan Irish would lose Friday night 4-1 to Alymer, and Goderich had a weekend to forget as they lost 7-3 Friday before being rocked 11-2 on Saturday. In the lone Sunday game locally, the North Middlesex Stars got back into the win column with a 4-3 win against Alymer who made it a close game in the third.
