As the Pinery provincial park occupation continues, the Town of Lambton Shores has been propelled to the front page of news headlines. Mayor of Lambton Shores Bill Weber says that he believes a solution that benefits both parties can be reached

Last week, 2 People moved a trailer onto the park property claiming the land rightfully belonged to them. OPP have confirmed that it is a First Nations member making the claim. On Monday myFM reporter Gabriel Burchert made his way to the provincial park in Lambton Shores hoping to speak to some of the protesters and get their side of the story. When he got there, no one could be found. A few park officials were there making sure no one got into the park, but there was no protester, no picket line, just an empty trailer that has been left by the main gate. The officials said that 2 men have left the trailer at the entrance, and only stop by occasionally to check on it's condition. Government officials estimate that the park will be closed until at least the 20th.
