COLLEGE STRIKE VOTING BEGINS TUESDAY
11/14/2017 9:25:22 AM

Today (Tuesday) is the day that College faculty members will vote on a contract offer, and it is expected that by Thursday we will know the decision.
The strike has canceled classes for students at all 24 colleges including Fanshawe campuses. The vote is being requested by the College Employer Council, and will be conducted online or by phone and requires 50 percent plus one of all of those who vote. It is predicted that if approved classes will resume next week, but if rejected it is expected that the Wynne government will have to intervene. myFM is working on securing an interview with Fanshawe College to gather further updates.
