The Huron Recreation, Arts and Sports programs supported by the United Way offers $500 to kids who's Family makes under $45,000 a year.

The program helps ease the pressures of families who can't pay the registration fees that are all to common for extra curricular activities.

Community Engagement Coordinator Jenn Evans says that this program helped over 260 families last year.


Kids up to 17 years old are eligible, and the money can be used for any form extra curricular activity
