LONDON NORTH CENTRE LIBERAL MP DISCUSSES RECENT TERRORISM POLICY
12/4/2017 12:55:31 PM

The Liberal Government has taken some flak for their policy of rehabilitating Canadians suspected of committing terrorism. The policy is meant to work as a preventative measure. Liberal MP for London North Centre Peter Fragiskatos sits on the House Committee for Public Safety and National Security and says Canadian Law Enforcment and Intelligence agencies are well aware of those people.

Fragiskatos adds that a lack of clear evidence would make it hard to persue a conviction in a Canadian court, since it is hard to gather evidence from an active warzone. He also wanted to enphasize that if the evidence of terrorism is there, law enforcement will lay charges.
