The holidays are a time of year filled with joy and happiness, but for less fortunate families within our community, it can be difficult to ensure items make their way under the Christmas tree. That's why the Huron County Children's Aid Society is putting on five Christmas Bureaus throughout the County to help families this holiday season. The Bureaus take place in Clinton, Goderich, Seaforth, Exeter, and Wingham, and donations of good are currently being accepted until Friday, December 8th. Volunteer Coordinator for the Huron-Perth Children's Aid Society, Trish Harris says the Bureaus are looking for all kinds of donations.

Harris says that the pre-teen and teenage age groups are usually the hardest to find items for. She adds the Christmas Bureaus have been in existence for a number of years and helps provide a good Christmas for those in Huron County. Anyone looking to donate can do so between 10 AM and 5 PM. Donations can be taken to any of the five following sites: in Clinton at the Clinton United Church, in Goderich at St.Peters Catholic Church, in Seaforth at the First Presbyterian Church, in Exeter at the Exeter Christian Reform Church, and in Wingham at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
