A special weather statement in effect for all of Perth County, and all of Huron County including Exeter, as well as all of Lambton County including Grand Bend. Environment Canada says we should expect mild and rainy conditions today, tonight and into Friday. The rain is expected to be patchy and light for most of the day, but expected to be more widespread tonight and into Friday. 10 to 20 millimeters is likely, and the rain mixed with melting snow could result in pooling water on roadways and low-lying areas. Following the rain today and today, a strong cold front is expected on Friday which will bring an end to the mild weather. The weather agency warns that rain could quickly transition to snow with some brief freezing rain, and all the combined weather could make travel conditions less than ideal.
