Another school has been hit by thieves this time in Exeter.
Huron County Ontario Provincial Police along with members of the Huron-Perth Community Street Crimes Unit continue to seek tips from the public about the recent string of public school break-ins in Huron County.
The latest such incident took place on April 3rd at Exeter Public School on Victoria Street, as police say just before 4 AM, they were called to the school after getting a report from the school caretaker that the school had been entered.
Police arrived on scene and noticed that the thief had forced entry into the school through a window, and once inside made off with an HP Model 822 C Pro Book valued at $900.
Police are reminding the public to continue to keep an eye out for suspicious activity everywhere including school properties and contact police as soon as possible.
