The Crown is continuing to call witnesses in the Boris Panovski trial. Tuesday's testimony was mostly from Provincial Police officers who responded to the scene of a shooting at the Hullet Wildlife Marsh in 2014. The shooting was that of Don Frigo and his wife Eva. CTV is reporting that officers spoke with Don Frigo's wife Eva, who gave a description of a man who allegedly appeared to be a white male in his 40s with a brush cut wearing camo gear, but added she didn't get a good look at the suspect. CTV added that officers said Eva told them she remembered seeing a bluish car, and she then allegedly told the officer "it appeared that he the shooter had been waiting for us." The day finished and Wednesday began with testimony from the OPP forensic investigator. Panovski has been charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder. It appears that the defense will not even present an opening statement until the Crown has finished presenting their case, but they are cross-examining witnesses. Stay with myFM for more details when they become available.
