AFTER PROM AND GRAD SAFETY
6/8/2018 12:23:14 AM

This weekend many students in Huron County will be taking part in prom and graduation celebrations but local police want to ensure that everyone is safe. After prom and grad parties sometimes include alcohol and drugs which police says can lead to dangerous situations. All participants should be prepared for an increased police presence including RIDE checkpoints. But it's not just the kids who need to be mindful, as property owners need to be aware of their civil liability for anyone that gets injured on their property. Huron County OPP wishes all graduates the best of luck with their future endeavors but wants everyone to be safe this weekend. Further Information and tips on how to host a safe grad party can be found at www.madd.ca
