The Huron County OPP Youth Advisory Council's EMS pulling event turned out to be an overwhelming success. 5 Person first responder teams battled it out in a pull off to see how quickly they could pull a fire truck, ambulance, and police cruiser a distance of 25 metres down the Clinton Raceway horse track. The combined team of the North Huron and Central Huron Fire Department were the winners of the pull with the lowest time. Huron County Paramedic services finished second, while two Huron County OPP teams finished third and fourth respectively. But the true winner was the Tanner Steffler Foundation as a total of $914 dollars was raised for the foundation. The foundation is committed to promoting awareness and creating a culture of change in mental health, addiction and wellness services for youth and families in Huron County.
