Huron County OPP is welcoming three new recruits to the force. These rookie officers all commenced regular patrols early October with their assigned coach officers. As in the case with all OPP recruits they completed training at the Provincial Police Academy and the Ontario Police College (OPC) in Aylmer.
After successfully completing the training, which included enhanced fitness, firearms, and classroom training, they were sworn in as provincial police constables.
Constable Chloe Middegaal, a Huron County native, comes to the OPP after graduating with a degree in Community & Criminal Justice.
Constable Talmage Edgley has been working toward a career in policing for the last decade.
And Constable Kaitlyn Pretli, a native of LaSalle, is very pleased to be serving Huron County, her first choice to serve.
