Lambton Shores mayor Bill Weber says they have a soft opening date for the municipally owned beaches in Grand Bend.
They’re eyeing for a Monday (June 22nd) return, with regulations and restrictions of course in play.
Weber hopes people continue to take the COVID-19 pandemic seriously, and they won’t hesitate to pull back these privileges if the case count takes a turn.
Lambton County was included in the second rounds of region given the green light from the province to enter Stage 2 of reopenings, set for Friday.
Weber initially targeted Canada Day as a hopeful opening date for beaches.
