Huron Bruce and Middlesex-London are among the areas entering Stage 3 of reopenings Friday, and that brings in a lot more activities.
Lambton-Kent-Middlesex MPP Monte McNaughton said Ontario prepared for the worst and the overall COVID-19 outcome never made it to that, which got us to this point.
Bars and restaurants will be allowed to open indoors, gathering limits inside bumps to 50 and 100 for outside, gyms will be open and much more.
McNaughton says this means thousands will be going back to work across Ontario.
It’s a regional reopening approach much like Stage 2. The areas which delayed entering Stage 2 by a week, like nearby Lambton County, will also have to wait a week for Stage 3. McNaughton says that’s because the government needs four weeks of data to make a determination on if a region is ready.
