Masks are now required in a couple area municipalities.
Late last week, Lucan Biddulph council passed a by-law supporting the Middlesex-London Health Units instructions for a temporary mask requirement or face covering.
A face covering includes a mask, bandana, scarf, cloth or anything that covers the nose, mouth and chin without gaps.
What this means for Lucan Biddulph is that face coverings are required by customers, staff, and anyone entering an enclosed public premise.
Businesses will be posting signage of the new by-law, but there are some exceptions.
During a meeting on Monday Sarnia council voted 6-2 in favour of making masks mandatory.
