Rachel Skillen, is a community leader with the South Huron Optimist Club as well as an educator at St. Anne’s in Clinton.
Rachel says she always knew she wanted to be an educator, so she completed her undergraduate in math before going onto teachers college and being a math and physics teacher.
For the past 18 years Rachel has been at St. Anne’s and she is currently a co-op teacher.
She says being a co-op teacher is very rewarding.
She says her advice to young people entering the education field is to never stop learning.
