Erin O’Toole is the new leader of the Conservative Party of Canada.
O’Toole is a former lawyer, and former member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb says while he originally threw his support behind Peter MacKay, but he is now supporting Erin O’Toole.
Lobb says he will provide a nice contrast to Justin Trudeau whenever the next election will be held.
Rumors have been swirling that the Bloc Quebecois want to try and force a fall election, but Lobb says he doesn’t believe anyone really wants an election at the present time.
Lobb added when there is an election. Prime Minister Trudeau is making it easy for people not to vote Liberal, as when he was elected there were lots of expectations and he has failed in all aspects.
