Big news coming out of the Thames Valley District School Board Tuesday.
It was announced that classes for all London and surrounding area within the board’s boundaries will be pushed back one week due to limits being stretched from the fallout of shifting COVID-19 health and safety guidelines.
Board Education Director Mark Fisher says they will have a staggered start, beginning Monday, September 14th.
He also said that the London and District Catholic School Board is expected to follow suit, even though that board met on Tuesday but nothing official was released.
The Avon Maitland District School Board and the Huron Perth Catholic District School Board are both expected to release back to school plans sometime this week.
myFM will continue to monitor the story.
