Provincial offences officers are visiting more workplaces – ticketing businesses that aren’t complying with pandemic protocols.
More than 300 officers are fanning out on a blitz not unlike what happened last week at big-box stores but this time targeting restaurants providing take-out meals – essential service businesses like gas station and farms – focusing on locations that employ temporary foreign workers to ensure that health and safety laws are followed.
It was announced that there will be 10 campaigns in different communities in the province, including in Huron Perth.
In addition to enforcement officers are providing resource materials on safe pandemic behaviour to employers and workers.
