
While rumours have it we may see a polar vortex to close out January, these runours are an exaggeration according to Environment Canada meteorologist Gerald Chang.
Chang says all we will see will likely be a return to seasonal temperatures.
He and the Environment Canada team are also monitoring a system coming from the United States that could result in a snowy end to the month.
Temperatures are expected to hover around daytime highs of minus-three, and nighttime lows of minus-ten.
