During Monday night’s South Huron council meeting, council voted in favor of four recommendations from the Committee of the Whole all about the scope of the work and the renovations at the South Huron Rec Centre.
Recommendations included the scope of the project, a report to come back in 60 days including engineering and costing for the building scope, as well as establishing a task force to assist staff with the report.
The last recommendation was who would make up the task force, which was highly sought after by all council members.
Based on each member of the Committee of the Whole submitting their top 3 recommendations to the clerk it was decided that Mayor George Finch, Deputy Mayor Jim Dietrich and councilor Aaron Neeb would make up the task force.
