Funding is coming to the Brussels, Morris, and Grey Community Centre for upgrades.
Huron Bruce MPP and Minister of Government and Consumers Services Lisa Thompson announced on Monday (7th) that the facility will receive $4.7 Million.
All three levels of government are contributing to the project.
The funding comes from the Culture and Recreation (CCR) Stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP)
The federal government is contributing $1,915,200; the province $1,595,840 while the municipality of Huron East is adding $1,276,959.
The project includes an enhanced fitness centre, kitchen facilities, auditorium and new dressing rooms that meet Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act requirements.
