Huron Shores Area Transit has received an additional $1,065,946 in funding support from the Ontario government’s Community Transportation Grant. The funding supports the extension of the three-year pilot project that launched Huron Shores Area Transit in December 2020.
The bus service is meant to provide affordable transportation options in the region and connects places like Grand Bend, Forest, Parkhill, and many others to London and Sarnia.
Fares range from $5 and $20, depending on which route you are traveling, and children aged four and under can ride for free.
Fares, routes, and schedules can be found on the Huron Shores Area Transit website.
