The Mitchell Hawks have a brand new logo.
The Provincial Junior Hockey League team unveiled their new logo which was designed by Mitchell graphic designer Tom Fanson on July 20th.
Mitchell was one of a number of teams asked to change their logo which had been deemed insensitive to Indigenous groups.
The new logo features an actual hawk but still keeps the teams red, white and black colour scheme.
