A 44-year-old London man faces several charges after Huron OPP received a call about a suspicious vehicle parked near the former Bluewater Youth Centre.
Officers responded to the call around 7:45 p.m. Aug. 7 and found a hole cut in the fencing and an open door at one of the buildings. About an hour later they located a man pushing a barrel of cut copper piping.
Jeffrey McCafferty has been charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property under $5,000, mischief to property and failure to comply with a probation order. He is to appear Sept. 13 in Goderich court.
