With the Federal Election coming up on September 20th, it is time to look into where you can vote, how you can vote, and check to see if you are registered at the correct address.
Rejean Grenier, the Regional Media Advisor for Ontario for Elections Canada said that there are many different ways to vote.
The first is by mail in ballot, where you go online, apply for one with proof of address and a photo ID, and then once you receive your ballot you can mail it back in, as long as it is received by the end of the polls on the 20th.
The other way is to vote in person, which also has two options.
Grenier added that it is important to check online and make sure you are registered to the correct address.
Voter information cards were sent out on Monday August 23rd, and the location of your closest voting station will be listed there. For a link to the elections Canada website to check your voter status and nearest polling station, click right here
