The name of the deceased in the fatal collision west of Exeter on Thursday morning has been released.
16 year old Keiran Stewart from Centralia who was a student at South Huron District High School has been identified as the driver of the vehicle.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that the driver lost control of the sedan he was driving on Ausable Line between County Road 83 and Huron Street West, before striking a large tree in an eastbound ditch.
Support is being offered to students and staff at SHDHS.
In a statement the school said:
