The Huron County Museum is holding a virtual presentation to talk about D-Day and the role Canada played on Juno Beach and in the Battle of Normandy.
Daniel Genif, the acting education and program coordinator for the museum says that the event will be educational for all.
The speaker is Alex Fitzgerald-Black of the Juno Beach Centre Association, who will share a story of an unknown Canadian D-Day hero, and then they will track the story of the Centre’s creation, and how the museum acts as Canada’s main Second World War site of memory.
The event is free or by donation, from 7-8pm on November 9th.
