The United Way of Perth Huron has raised over 72% of their campaign goal for the year.
Coming up in February is an event called the Coldest Night of the Year.
Member of United Way Perth-Huron South Huron & Area Community Committee and Volunteer Coordinator with Noah’s Ark and the Community Table Andrea Loohuizen says the event raises money and awareness for homeless initiatives.
All the money raised locally stays local, and the funds raised during the Coldest Night of the Year are going towards the South Huron Connection Centre in Exeter.
