Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece is retiring which means that the Conservative party will have to elect a new candidate for the area to run in the June 2nd election. Local Matthew Rae has thrown his hat in the ring looking to fill Pettapiece’s shoes.
Rae has spent many years involved in politics, and he loves to help out his community when he can.
Rae grew up in Harriston on his family’s dairy farm, and now lives in Mitchell. Being from rural Ontario, and seeing daily the issues the area faces is something he can bring to the table if he were to win the nomination, and the June election.
