Historic sexual assault charges have been laid against a senior citizen following an investigation in Perth East.
Police say the charges are from incidents that took place in 2001 when the accused was in a position of power and the victim was a teenager.
72-year-old Howard Bean from East Zorra-Tavistock Township has been charged with sexual assault on a person under 16 and sexual interference.
