Exeter Downtown will become a winter wonderland this winter.
The Exeter BIA has received a grant of just over $20,000 for their ‘Light Up the Home of the White Squirrel Project’.
The grant comes from the ‘My Main Street Community Activator, delivered by the Canadian Urban Institute’.
Residents and victors can look forward to a more vibrant neighborhood setting that will draw visitors and increase foot traffic to shops, restaurants and exciting new public spaces.
The grant is to bring bright light and humour to Exeter during the winter months. This will be accomplished by providing downtown businesses with a supply of string lights to brighten their storefronts and offering 8-10 LED neon White Squirrel themed signs designed through community input.
