
5 years in jail for a 35-year-old from Toronto after he was arrested and charged with crimes against a local child.
Corygon Allicock, posted as a 20-year-old on Snapchat and started an online relationship with the child from Perth County.
The man then took the child in the middle of the night from their home to his home in Etobicoke.
The child was found by police after tracing an IP address linked to an app that the victim was using to talk to a friend during the abduction.
Allicock pled guilty to child abduction, child luring, and invitation to sexual touching.
Three other charges for communicating with the victim while out on bail were withdrawn.
Allicock is not allowed to communicate with the victim or their mother while serving time, he also cannot be anywhere near the job, school or residence of the victim afterward.
Allicock was also banned from visiting places where people under 16 are present and he is also not allowed to communicate with anyone under 16 unless supervised by his parents.
His name, address, and information about the offenses will also be added to the sexual offender registry and he will be required to comply with the Sexual Offender Information Registration Act for the rest of his life.
