As myFM reported, the Ontario government’s talks with the Canadian Union of Public Employees or CUPE has broken down.
So much so that the government introduced an anti-striking bill.
Despite that CUPE has announced that they are withdrawing services this Friday.
The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board has CUPE members and is working on contingency plans to try and keep schools open, but parents are being advised to plan for a remote learning day on Friday.
