
Exeter native Hannah Tait is on the roster for the 2023 FISU Winter World University Games in Lake Placid in New York.
Tait plays for the Guelph Gryphon hockey team and will have a chance to play against one of her team mates, who will be playing for Japan.
The forth year University of Guelph student is the captain for the the Guelph Gryphon’s hockey team.
The 2023 FISU Games will be on now until January 22nd. 1600 students athletes from over 50 countries will play in 12 different sports.
Team Canada played Solvakia on January 11th and won 4-0.
Canada will play Czechia on January 14th at 4:30pm. Canada will then take on Japan on the 15th at 4:40pm. After that, on the 17th, Canada will take on Great Britain at 4:30. The Canada will battle our rivals the USA on the 18th at 4:30pm. Semifinals will start on January 20th and the bronze and gold medal game will be on the 21st.
