United Way Perth-Huron announced $50,000 in grant recipients yesterday, supporting local initiatives that are contributing to the community.
Recipients included CMHA Huron Perth for their Food Insecurity Initiative, the Huron Perth Children’s Aid Society for their Rapid Response Fund, Huron Perth Public Health for their Two Row Now – Indeginous-led Community Housing, Municipality of Huron East for the Vanastra Access Centre, and Rural Response for Healthy Children for their program “What Happened to You? Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing”.
United Way Perth-Huron credited and recognized each of the recipients as being innovative new approaches to community programs.
