Local fire departments remained on the scene at a structure fire outside of Exeter last night.
They were initially called to a drive shed fire at around 10pm on Sunday night, and when they arrived, the building was already completely engulfed.
South Huron Fire Chief Jeremy Becker says that the structure has been lost,
Current estimates place the damage caused by the fire at $2.5 million.
Fire departments from surrounding municipalities were called to aid in the efforts to extinguish the blaze, with a dozen tanker trucks shuttling into town.
Finally, at approximately 9 p.m. yesterday evening, fire operations concluded after almost 24 hours on the scene.
At the peak of the incident, 75 firefighters from nine different stations fought the blaze.
