Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre is gearing up for an exciting event that promises an evening filled with fun, entertainment, and community – their Gala is coming up on Thursday, August 3.
Zielman said that the community support is absolutely essential to their mission.
The Gala promises to be a night to remember, with a variety of attractions lined up to entertain and inspire the attendees. One of the highlights of the event is the live auction hosted by MP Ben Lobb and Huron County Warden Glen McNeil.
The impact of HCFBDC’s efforts is truly remarkable, with over 1,037,600 pounds of food distributed to those in need last year alone.
Their mobile food truck also plays a crucial role in serving communities without access to food banks or grocery stores – travelling throughout the county and providing service to those that need it most.
The upcoming Gala is not only an opportunity for attendees to have a memorable evening but also a chance to make a significant difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity. By supporting the HCFBDC, individuals contribute directly to the well-being of their fellow community members, with a reach that extends far beyond it’s locale.
