This week we’ve been looking into how AI is revolutionising local workplaces.
Angela Lawrence, General Manager of Hay Communications, says that she’s found it especially useful to get her brain jogging.
At Hay Communications, she personally harnesses AI’s power to draft letters, contracts, policies, and agreements, though she always meticulously reviews and edits the output.
She says that some of her employees also employ AI to streamline tasks such as scriptwriting and coding.
Despite the numerous advantages, Lawrence acknowledges that challenges exist. Transparency and accountability are crucial, as some employees might hesitate to admit they use AI, fearing their work might be discounted.
One thing that Lawrence says is top of mind is the protection of data, which many corporate entities are grappling with right now.
Like it or not, AI is here to stay – much the same way that having a calculator in your pocket at all times underscores it’s effectiveness in mathematics, AI will continue to reshape workplaces and driving innovation.
