The community is gearing up for a spook-tacular tradition that has captured the hearts of both young and old.
Exeter’s Jack-o-lantern Jamboree, is coming up on Friday!
We had the privilege of chatting with Rob Ross, the BIA manager in Exeter, who is at the helm of this exciting event. He shared the ins and outs of what makes the Jack-o-lantern Jamboree so special.
The Exeter Parkette is adorned with a mesmerizing array of pumpkins. Each one is unique, whether it’s painted blood-red by a local school or intricately carved to showcase unbelievable skills.
Last year, they had over 40 pumpkins and over 200 kids.
Visitors not only get to admire these artistic creations but also participate in the festive spirit. People can rate their favorite pumpkins, and for the kids, there are goodies galore.
The Pumpkin Festival kicks off on Friday, October 27th, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Parkette, ushering in the Halloween season.
Ross says that the event wouldn’t be possible without the support of local businesses.
So swing by the parkette to check out the community’s unique creations on Friday!
