Williams emphasized that amid the broader challenges facing healthcare, the amalgamation aims to stabilize and provide a robust foundation for future endeavors. It addresses administrative complexities arising from HPHA’s four separate legal entities, leading to a more efficient allocation of resources – on the surface, the transition will be invisible.
Audio PlayerTo keep the community informed, HPHA has conducted virtual information sessions and scheduled public meetings in various locations throughout November.
They have a series of information sessions that the public can attend this week – with the first being tonight in St. Mary’s, a second tomorrow in Clinton, followed by meetings in Clinton on Wednesday, and Stratford on Thursday.
A central concern that has arisen through public consultation revolves around the role of foundations and the preservation of local voices in decision-making.
