When wandering around Goderich, you may have noticed a little green box stocked with pantry items.
That is the Goderich Free Little Pantry, looking to help those in need by providing food to those in need of a little extra help.
Brad Tempas, Part of the Committee of Free Little Pantry says explains the purpose of the pantry.
Not only does the committee stock the pantry, by they also give meals during the holiday season in partnership with Heart to Home, but it didn’t have the greatest start.
Fortunately this year with the help of social media they were able to provide more meals for those in need.
Tempas says there unfortunately is always a need within the community, that’s why it is so important to do something like the free pantry.
