In a sobering start to the year, a Bluewater resident finds themselves facing serious charges following an incident on New Years Day.
Huron OPP responded to reports of a suspected impaired driver who had veered off Bayfield Road and collided with a hydro pole near Stone School Line in Central Huron just after 2:00 a.m.
Officers determined that the driver was impaired, and a 55-year-old from Bluewater now faces charges.
