Now is your chance to support local minor sports – the Bayfield Skating Club is hosting a “Galentines” fundraiser.
Amy Blake, Treasurer of Bayfield Skating Club says this is a very fun and special fundraiser for the club.
In the past they have sold Elmira Chicken but the wanted to mix it up.
Blake says the group was hoping to do something non-traditional to break away from normal fundraising activities in order to stand out.
The fundraiser is a good way to give back to the community! It’s an organization that’s focused on the youth of the community, allowing them to be physically active, gain a skill.
It’s a great experience for anyone.
Not only is the fundraiser important to the Bayfield Skating Club and the community, but Blake says anytime there is a chance to support local minor sports, it should be taken.
Local minor sports do a lot more for our youth than some many realize.
