Today is Safer Internet Day and this years slogan is “Together For a Better Internet”.
Jeff Hare, Middlesex OPP Media Relations Community Safety Officer says this month is super important for everyone who uses technology.
Hare says they have been seeing a trend with children as of late.
Hare has some tips for parents to help keep kids safe on the internet.
The slogan for this year is “Together For a Better Internet” and Hare says together we can make the internet a safe space.
He also says it you suspect any sort of suspicious behaviour online, report it to OPP or local police.
